DIC problem

So is this invisible mold thing real? My DIC has been doing the random language thing randomly resets my trip meter, oil life etc, sometimes it is non responsive when I push the button to reset odometer. It has been driving me crazy I just figured I needed to replace the cluster. Can someone post a pic of where to brush with a toothbrush if this fixes it I'll be forever greatful.
