Denali D3S 5500k and Led hi beam and fog lights. A lot of pics inside

Since i bought my 2016 Denali i didnt like low/hi beam and fog light setup
So i ordered Uxcell PSX26W 30w 6000k led
On driver side is Uxcell 6000k foglight, on passanger side is my other option fog light Xenon Depot 5000k led

Since i didnt know if TRS 9005 led is gonna work i didnt wanna mess up OEM headlight low/hi beam bulb cover, i bought 4 new ones part# 22941303 on ebay $4.15 each. Also TRS 9005 leds comes with extended rubber caps and i use them on moded OEM caps



I use Lenox 2 1/4 hole saw from lowes part# 348138 and drill about 3mm off center on bulb covers since Led will be close to this cap, and i use black RTV silicone to seal rubber cap to OEM cap



Here is how rubber cap looks like after everything is installed. I did pull male 9005 connector out and connect it to Morimoto ballast and tuck/zip tied
I used Scotch outside red double side outdoor tape and attach ballast under low beam bulb housing

From the outside TRS D3S 5500k low beams looks like they have some blue in it but from inside car they are bright white. TRS 9005 6000K hi beam led are bright white. Also Xenon Depot PSX26W 5000k led fog lights are bright white
TRS have 4500k D3S and Xenon Depot have 6000k PSX26W. So i may try experiment with them
I hope this helps because i dont think anyone tried different hi beams so far

Xenon Depot ones are brightest. Like insaid ill order them in 6000k and see if is better match with 5500k lows. Problem is matching with led DRL. They are not bright white, they got some yellow in it
Yeah i posted all those pics and info on my S6 edge. It took a long time

Would be ideal to see the actual output----like showing the light hitting a structure, like a wall or garage door.

I have to adjust low and hi beams. I left it how Denali came from the factory. Here is low beams TRS D3S 5500

I did say im gonna experiment with different fogs. Here is TRS 5500 lows and Xenin Depot PSX26W 6000k on passenger and 5000k on driver side

Wow, that's some serious data. I also like how you modded the dust caps. I never thought of that back when I tried switching out the highs on mine. Still wish though that there was a way to get everything behind the dust cap so that all the connections were inside the housing.

Interesting. Thanks for ajj the output photos.

In my humble opinion, the TRS units show superior beam pattern and cut-off; and keeping the temp to 5000K or lower seems to yield best (most useable) light output.

I just installed low beams H11 TRS 2Stroke led kit in wifes 09 Altima with reflector low beam housing. Boy its bright. Also bought Xenon Depot H11 led for fogs in 5000k. I may order H11 6000k leds for fogs for better low beam/fog light match

So there you go. To me this TRS 2Stroke led kit is worth every penny. Color is abaut 5500k with hint of blue. I will use same kit to replace Hi power H11 led kit that i curently have in my Volvo 18 wheeler. I use to like HID in my cars and trucks but now im switching everithing to the led. I had good aftermarket HID in my semi and i was tired replacing ballasts and bulbs every 10-12 months since HID kits last 2000-2500 hrs or around 120k miles and i made that miles in 1 year but when HIDs are used in cars they will last lice time of that car. I like led kits since they last longer and they light up road nice
