Installed a Yukon Denali cluster and HUD unit in my 2015.5 Yukon SLT this weekend. The cluster had to be programmed to my vehicle and to enable HUD functionality. I created a custom wiring harness as the only way to add those connections is through swapping the I/P harness. The rest was just swapping parts.

and now you see all the letters reflected double on your windshield because the units with hud come with different windhields...

Nice work, lots of effort to get that in there.

I had a factory HUD in my Grand Prix and now my Yukon, but used a cheap OBD connected HUD in my Avalanche to get the speedo.

If the double image start to get to you, try one of these as a quick cheap solution.
Way cheaper than a new windshield and it really wasn't that horrible.

In looking to do this on my Tahoe would you be able to create a custom wiring harness? How involved was it? Something I'd be able to do or a local shop or you for some extra bones? Been dying to add hud and swap the cluster out!
