Denali 2wd vs "auto" question/concern

While in 2wd my vehicle diagram on the dash is still showing "power" to the front wheels when turning, accelerating, etc (which I would understand if I was in the "auto" mode - but not 2wd mode). See pic.
This doesn't seem appropriate. Thoughts???

are you talking about the 14%? Thats the turning % of your front wheels.

Or the arrow by the "2WD?" Could it be direction of motion? IDK, I only have 2wd.
