Hi, I am new to the forums and am looking for a bit of assistance here. I got a 2000 Chevy Suburban 1500 4wd that I will be lowering. I am going to run the lowering keys for the front and either lowering springs for the rear or cut springs. I have the ride control set up with the air shocks and compressor and was wondering if I could cut the lines and run them back to the license plate with valve stem style fittings to make the shocks completely manual. I want to do this so when I am hauling I can add air to the shocks like an aftermarket airbag set up. Is this possible or am I just missing something here? Any input would be appreciated. thanks

Won't work like that. you'll need to replace the shocks with regular shocks, please god replace your springs and don't cut them, and then you can get airlift helper bags that go inside your springs to air up/down to help with towing.

:welcome: to the forum

this has been asked many times, have a look around this section...

just rewire the compressor to a manual 2 way momentary switch. push up the compressor runs, push down and the exhaust valve opens.
