CB Radio

Did a search and could not find anything.

Have any of you replaced your CD drive with a CB radio? Would like to see some installs and what model/make you were able to fit into the slot already in the dash from the CD.

went to a place that installs cb's and sells cb radio equipment. he told me for a 04 tahoe id have to get a smaller cb radio, was trying to install a cobra brand one, forget the model its the classic one with the metal front. said there are vents behind the console not deep enough for most of the cb's. can get a small uniden. another place told me it could be done, theyll find a way. i think if you play with the layout of the console it can be done. have seen it installed on the side as well.
