Buy a Suburban / Yukon XL or better not in my special situation

In the beginning of this week we did it and bought the attached 2001 Yukon Denali XL with 150k miles on it.
The previous owner nicely took care of the car (not like the majority of the Suburbans we looked on before).
I know this was not a really reasonable choice but we are really happy about the Denali and hope we will not have to many issues in the next 2 years with it.

If you haven't had it looked at yet, make sure the brake lines are OK.

My 2000 Yukon XL (134k miles) needed brake lines from age, and I understand that to be a common problem with any car or truck that's over 15 years old.

EDIT: it is probably more a concern for a truck that is from northern states because of all the salt used on the roads in the winter.
