Figured I've doen enough things to start a build thread. This is from start up till now.
2002 Chevrolet Suburban. Bought back in August of 2011 for $10,000 with only 63,500 miles from a vet that only drove it on vacations and when needed for bigger tasks. All the rest of the time it was covered up in the garage. He was the original owner.

First thing we did was take it on a 2500 mile trip with the family

First mod I took my system out of my 2001 yukon xl and bought new door speakers and put it in the burb.

Then I got the windows tinted, 20% up front, 5% over factory on the rest

Then I got headers and a flomaster super 44 for it

Been absent from the forum for a good while due to horrible internet connections ( stupid Time Warner Cable) and been busy with school trying to finish everything so I can graduate spring 2013.

But I still found time to mod this beast. Since the leds I have plastidipped a few interior panels to white, redone the grill shell in black and white plastidip for durability and the paint was chipping off. I have plastidipped the rims black to look like police inteceptor rims.

But thats all cosmetics, performance mods ive done are blackbear 88 octane tune which helped a hell of a lot on the higher rpm range. But to get this pig going off the start I installed a cam and valvespring kit. cam is a .607/.614 lift with a 219/227 duration @ .50 valve springs are the dual spring set up good up to .650 lift, titanium seats and hats. Cam powerband is 1800-6500 rpm.

Stock rwhp on the dyno was 250, after all the go fast mods and retune ending rwhp is 348. I dont have torque numbers which really sucks because that cam is made for torque on the low end. 1/4 mile time stock with intake and 500lbs system in rear were 18.2 at 75 mph, after go fast mods its down to 17.4 at 84 mph. Some of you may be thinking he needs a torque converter and I will be getting the converter once I get the money which should be soon. It'll be the 2800-3000 stall from TCI. That should help a lot off the line.

Mods after the converter? Idk yet? More than likely ill be getting the suspension up to par with the go fast mods ie 2/3-4 drop, giant sway bars DJMs are the thickest ive seen, maybe rear sphoon uca, lca, and panhard bar. We shall see but thats the general idea for the future.

Ultimate goals for the rig? as close as I can get to 1000hp. Looking at the 383 stroker kit for the 5.3. Twin turboes? Procharger? Idk yet...

But thats what ive been busy with.
