Broke into or Design flaw?

My wife is out of town with her sister and girl-friends and sent me this pic.

She said 1 of the girls opened a door and it fell out. To me it looks like someone was trying to break in and or steal it.

This happen to anyone else or anything similar? I told her to call the police, she brushed me off. She is 5 hours away at the beach and would be pissed if it's gone in the am.

No my friend they break very easy, no body trying to open the door.
No worries super glue do the trick I did on 2 of them 2 year ago.
