Body swap 1500 to 2500

The only thing needed to do a DMax swap is a body lift so it can clear the Allison. Nothing else is needed, no moving of body mounts. Its been a while since weve had a 2500 burb in the shop but I really believe the body mounts are in the same spots.

If you use a 2500 to start you are correct. If you use a 1500 body on a 2500 frame there are changes necessary.

Body Mount differences

So basically you will just have to do the body mount mods, transfer the 2500 pedals and brake booster to your 1500 body, drilling one new hole for the booster. No body lift will be needed in this case, but if you ever wanted one, now would be the time to do it.
