I like the boards on the long body unless you are doing something crazy with lift or lowering, but at stock height, keep them.

I have always stepped past them getting in or out...if I had taller friends or relatives I'd take them off.

I am getting the dent fixed in back quarter panel and there is a little rust showing above the boards didn't know if they were the main reason for the rust not from the age!!
