Has anyone had to do lower ball joints.I have 62 K,KM on my 2015 Tahoe LS and was told i will need lower ball joints soon, Play was 10-15? and limit is 20? not sure of type of measure. No off road. It seems kind of early for ball joints.

@greenhornet, can you describe the symptoms so I know what to look or listen for? My 2015 LT has about 70K miles. If the dealer considers those "drivetrain" you could be covered until 100K miles.

Thanks.

What you might notice is going over some small bumps you might feel a clunk in the front end.Sometimes even over sudden large bumps. It is not a loud or heavy clunk but it a feeling or an obvious noise and feeling something is loose in the front left or right lower suspension. Also it is not part of the power train so no luck on warranty. You can change the lower control arms or do the individual joints. My 2000 Tahoe had 200,000 K on it before it needed joints,i am not impressed with such a short time to be worn out.Joints are around 50 -70. dollars.Do get the best made it is worth it,and are all grease-able.
