Anyone running 305/70 16's or 33x12.5?

Just curious to see some pics of an OBS with 305/70 16's or 33x12.5.

I've finally made up my mind, and have decided to just add a 2" rear block and crank up the TB's a little. It'll do till I can afford a real 6" suspension lift.

Only thing I can't decide on is tire size. I'm gonna go with some AR Crater
16x8 rims with 4.5" backspacing. I am trying to decide between a 285/75 16 or if I want the tire to stick out wider with a 305/70 16.

Both tires are bascially the same height but the 305's are about an inch wider than the 285's

Any pics or opinions are appreciated

well depends on what fits on your ride, or how much side wall you want.

I went with 17x8" Eagle 140's on 295/70R17 Nitto Trail Grappler M/T (33.4")

I did have to cut the edge of the bumper cause it was scraping a lot. Gonna need a real 4" lift to give me the clearance i need. But it'll work for now

Get the 285's or break out the Sawzall....your choice. The 285's are a perfect fit IMO, and if you don't have factory flares, they'll be sticking way out. They stick out just the right amount with my flares.

I did with no crank. It rubbed on big bumps but never turning. I'll see if I can find a picture, but I do not recall taken any of it.

edit: with 4.5" BS on the wheels you will rub a lot with out a little lift. When I put my new wheels on before the lift they had 4.5" BS and I had to run a 265 to clear with no issues

Will 285's rub on a stock or lowered application? I'm going to need 4 new tires for the Duece Dubs :(

I run a wider and fatter tire in the rear compared to the front. Front some times like to jerk cuz the tire is a little to skinny I think its a 255. I would love to go wider with no turning issues.

I am running 285's on mine wheels are 17x9 and i had to do a little cutting to get them to fit and my torsion bars are about maxed out and they still rub on bumps if i am turning.
