Looking to do a very light tint on the windshield of my 18 tahoe, but I hear that it could effect the auto headlamps and day/night function of the info screen? Anyone had this issue or if they did, know a work around? TIA!

I put 30% tint on my front windshield about a month ago and so far I've had no problems with any of those issues you're concerned with. Go for it!

But honestly, if you think about it... windshield will be darker so the lights may come on eariler or stay on longer, not that its a problem but lets say 6 yrs down the road and you have to change a burnt out bulb when maybe it would have gone 10 years...meh who am I kidding the 15+ won’t last 10yrs...;)

I just popped off the tinted dome on my sensor. Works fine.

Just, like, flick and it's off?
I'll have to try that.
