hey guys. I just finished my lift project on my 2002 Tahoe . Well I cam across an awesome deal on a 2006 Yukon XL Denali so now I’m gonna start on that. I think I’m gonna do the same parts I did for my Tahoe . Wouldn’t be able to go any higher then 2-3” in the front due to the awd system. Unless I do a full diff drop kit. What are y’all suggestions? Here is a picture of the Tahoe I just finished and the Denali I’m getting. Think I’m gonna have some fun with the 6.0 liter with all wheel drive.

Tahoe looks cool! I had a feeling you were in LA when I saw your last name. Those long bodies look bad ass lifted.

Might be an option later on. I already ordered the parts to lift it like the Tahoe. Gonna throw a thrush welded muffler on it also just like the hoe. Also gonna have to get a small list to fix a few issues.

Here are 2 rigs of members on here that I saved pics as inspo... sold my 05 Denali for good coin and picked up an 02 Denali for cheap to do the same. I'm thinking of taking off all the moldings and throwing flares on it, spacers, 275/60r20 like the gray one

That's a good looking Tahoe you got there. And now that Denali is great canvas to start with. I've always liked the Denalis and if I could do an even trade, I would trade my Burban for a Denali XL in a heartbeat.

Yea I’m gonna go the same route I did with the tahoe. Some lift keys in the front and z71 springs in the rear with some shockextenders (for now) . Try and fine some more oem 17’s like I have on the Tahoe and put same tires on it. I’m not gonna take all the moldings off on this one. Just the emblems and stickersnon the rear. Throw a muffler on there with a black bear performance tune and call it good. Besides the maintenance items like changing all the fluids. That’s what I’m gonna do first. Will post pictures of the progress

Parts should be here in a few days so here are a couple before pictures. I think it has a 2/3 drop kit installed because I’m at 33” in the front and 34” in the rear. My Tahoe was 34.5-35” in the front and about 36.5ish in the rear before I lifted it. The Yukon is also resting on the bump stops. Im also getting a clunking sound under hard acceleration when it squats. Only does it when I’m going slow and floor it. so I think it being lowered might have something to do with that. Checked everything under there and serviced all the fluids and nothing was loose. So hopefully when it’s lifted it stops.
