if someone has ACC on their 2015+ Yukon denali could you take a pic of the location? I'd like to see if there is a wiring harness available on mine, maybe that could help with determining how easy or difficult the retrofit will be.

Thanks!

It's not, its also several modules, custom programming and several thousand dollars.

I'm willing to spend the $$$ can you help? Also willing to fly you out to California and pay you for this service as long as it's reasonable...

Prolly cheaper for you to trade it back in for a Denali that's equipped with the option.

No it wouldn't be... I just picked up a 15' Denali OTD for 60k less then a week ago. 7500 was for taxes, license, n reg.

If I trade it in for just this one feature that I am missing then off the bat I'd lose 7500.

A brand new 17 fully loaded Denali XL would run me ~73k new, otd 81k.

So no... trading it in for just this one feature will cost me an additional 21k.

I don't believe that the cost to retrofit this could exceed that amount...

EXACTLY. I don't have time to do something like this its a pretty damn big job.

Have you actually done a retrofit for this specific feature? Or is it all hypothetical and assumptions of what is needed in terms of modules and custom programming?

Maybe I'm being naive, but oem parts could not exceed $3k to retrofit would it?

Labor to retrofit ~ 20hrs at $150/hr for a specialized mechanic would be $3k.

So $6k to retrofit this feature imo is cheaper than trading it in...

We've done the programming for a couple of exporters its stupid I think it was around 10K total. That and the fact this is a VERY safety oriented system the liability is insane with a job like this.

Thank You - I was not aware that I'd be looking northward of $10k+

Considering that I used to swap out engines, suspensions, and transmissions.

Could this be a project I can take on my own? In terms of installation and retrofit?

As for the BCM reprograming could I just remove that and ship it to you to program? (Sorry if I'm oversimplifying this process, when I used to have my imports tuned, I would just remove the ecu unit and send it to the vendor to reprogram).

I'd be willing to pay you for consulting time if you are up for it.

Unfortunately its not even close to just BCM its about 6 different modules adding a whole new bus to the vehicle adding modules swapping out connectors on existing units; its a complete shit show. The only reason it worked for the export markets was because we were literally building something that didn't exist IE Sierra Denali Adaptive cruise where they were already paying over 100K USD for the trucks in that market; its crazy.

Ahh thanks for the additional info. I guess I can put this to rest now then.
