Ac tensioner vibration

Need help guys tge ac tensioner on my father yukon has a bad rattle we changed it after the other one was damaged but same thing is happening to the new one what can it be? We didn't change the belt. Also it only does it when you accelerate not on idle

And you're positive it's the tensioner? Does it only do it when the a/c is on or does it do it with the a/c off too? When this rattle happens is it at a specific RPM? For example 2000-2100 RPM?

It does it when the ac in on after 2k rpm it rattles badly you can see it vibrate and the higher you go it just get to a high pitch rattle

I was hoping you were gonna say something different.

Sounds to me like the reed valves inside your AC compressor maybe gettin ready to check out soon.

If you hook AC gauges up the needles will probably chatter like crazy, which will also confirm the theory of the valves.
