this is my 383 tahoe. but first some history. my parents bought this truck new in november of 94. i spent my childhood in the back seat of this truck. so in 2010 after my mothers purchase of a new enclave i was handed the key. it served me well through high school where it acquired a grill guard for 50 bucks when a friends truck was totaled and foglights because when you live far from any major city normal high beams don't cut it. after high school and 318,000 miles later i bought a new 4l60e rated at 600 ft/lb and fabbed up a 2 1/4 dual exhaust. two years later other than small suspension changes and some new tires she remained the same. then i decided i would brake the silence and do a motor swap.

after a week of tweaking and tuning it runs good, and i'm getting 15 highway and 13.5 city as long as i keep my foot out of it so the drivability hasn't changed. its definitley low key.
