So I have a 6" rough country lift kit on my 2002 Tahoe and the lift kit uses 6" shock extender brackets in the rear suspension so you still use your old rear shocks. Well my stock rear shocks are completely shot, and I would love to get 6" longer shocks so I don't have to use the shock extender brackets. What type of shocks am I looking for that are 6" longer? How do I find 6" longer shocks? What shocks do y'all recommend?

Pic unrelated, just figured I'd add a pic to show y'all the truck I'm referring to.IMG_20170401_184252_196.jpg

I know Bilstein's are almost always recommended on her, but I'm digging my KYB Monomax's.
I've heard that extended-length shocks for a Dodge Ram 1500 work on lifted Tahoes/Yukons, as the stock length Dodge shocks work on a leveled Tahoe or Yukon.

Check out FOA. I bolted in their 2.0" body with 10" travel in a pretty much stock setup. They are 26.5" center to center extended. Beyond that you'll be modifying some things to allow more droop. (Brake hoses, lower link bars, ABS wiring, anti-sway bar etc).

I have 26" length bilstein 5125's on my Jeep that I love. Find the right length on their website.
