4hi works 4lo just blinks

Just bought a 2001 suburban z71 with 4 inch lift and 35s and the 4lo won't engage. I can press 4hi and it blinks and then engages but when i click 4lo it just blinks for a minute and goes back, Changed all fluids transfer case, front diff etc and still doing it.. any thought thanks

In my 03 yukon, you have to shift the transmission into neutral before pressing 4lo. If you don't, you get the blinking for a minute and then it switches back.

have you tried the above post??? It also helps to me rolling about 2 miles an hour.

Mine does the same, I've tried shifting to neutral and rolling down a hill at no more than 2-3 mph...just blinks

Actuator on transfer case stuck or dirty? Had a couple full of water in the past.

when my actuator went out that is exactly what it did. new actuator..... problem solved
