2500 yukon xl auto ride removal

The auto ride shocks in my 02 yukon xl 2500 were shot so i replaced them with standard shocks. Normaly this wouldnt be a problem as i would just put resistors in...but the sensor rods, sensors and brackets are all on there last legs.

Is there any way to turn the light off in the message center?

This is for a 2500 so no air shocks and no air compressor. It just had electric controlled shocks.

Some members have had luck removing the fuse. I just replaced all of my Autoride shocks on my 04 2500. Walmart actually had the best price; they were still around 240 a pop though.

This worked great!. The key was disconnecting the battery. I tryed it with out that first and it didnt work.
