Hi guys I need to install a high output alternator on my 2001 tahoe is it true that high output alternator can get your pcm I heard it would because the pcm detection off alternator output and is there alternator out there that will with my stock 4 pin connector

Easily. Call Ohio Generator and talk to them. They've been doing high-output alts way longer than most out there, in my opinion, they are your best bet.

If you're only running one alt (I have 3) you don't need anything special.
