I have searched through all the posts here and other places and have yet to find confirmation on the max tire size for 22" wheels and wanted to see if anyone has had success before they mount up mine.
My plan was to go with the 285/50R22 Nitto Terra. I have a 2.5" / 1" level kit to be installed and could live with very minor trimming if necessary but don't want it to rub. Sidewall height is very important to me given my driving requirements. I don't want the tires sticking out past the fenders either - flush is ok, but not super wide. I am of course limited by the available 22" AT tires from Nitto or perhaps Toyo.
Nitto:
285/45/22
285/50/22
285/55/22
305/40/22
305/45/22
I have seen successfully installed 305/45R22 (2.5/1 level), 295/55R20 (2.5"/1" level) and 285/50R22 on several Sierra/Silverados with the 2.5/1 but have yet to see a Yukon with them.
I will be running the OEWheels 22" Denali rims. The vehicle is a 2015.5 Yukon Denali
WHEEL SIZE: 22x9
WHEEL OFFSET: 31
BOLT PATTERN: 6-139.7
HUB SIZE: 78.1
BACK SPACING: 6.22
Thoughts? Opinions? The 305's are pretty close so that might be the safer call.
Thanks in advance!
