I have searched through all the posts here and other places and have yet to find confirmation on the max tire size for 22" wheels and wanted to see if anyone has had success before they mount up mine.

My plan was to go with the 285/50R22 Nitto Terra. I have a 2.5" / 1" level kit to be installed and could live with very minor trimming if necessary but don't want it to rub. Sidewall height is very important to me given my driving requirements. I don't want the tires sticking out past the fenders either - flush is ok, but not super wide. I am of course limited by the available 22" AT tires from Nitto or perhaps Toyo.

Nitto:

285/45/22
285/50/22
285/55/22
305/40/22
305/45/22

I have seen successfully installed 305/45R22 (2.5/1 level), 295/55R20 (2.5"/1" level) and 285/50R22 on several Sierra/Silverados with the 2.5/1 but have yet to see a Yukon with them.

I will be running the OEWheels 22" Denali rims. The vehicle is a 2015.5 Yukon Denali

WHEEL SIZE: 22x9
WHEEL OFFSET: 31
BOLT PATTERN: 6-139.7
HUB SIZE: 78.1
BACK SPACING: 6.22

Thoughts? Opinions? The 305's are pretty close so that might be the safer call.

Thanks in advance!

I am running 305/40-22" no rub. It is a 4x4 tahoe. Idk if that makes a difference compare to a 2x4.

All these tire variations seems to land pretty close to a 33 for the lifted/ leveled trucks but if you can run a 32" tire on a 2/3 lowered (285/45/22) truck the limiting factor is probably wheel well width not height is that right? I'm trying to figure out the largest tire I can fit on a 22" wheel with the truck leveled, but I want to bring the rear down not the front up.

Im running a 285/55r22 Nitto with a 2.25" level. I do scrub when in reverse. I did not trim but i did use the heat gun to mold the fender back near the pinch weld.

What is the biggest Nitto tire size I can go with on stock 22" rims with stock truck
285/45/22 is oem
but can it fit.....

305/45/22?
or
285/50/22?
or
285/55/55?

Would like the 305/45/22 to fit but unsure? Any input or thoughts would be great, thanks
