2017 Tahoe headlight for 2012 Tahoe

I am new here and i've just blow a crazy idea into my mind what if we are going to install 2017 tahoe's fender and headlight on 2012 tahoe?, is it possible? has anyone tried it before?

Im guessing not since the new lights have a chip inside. Ive had some experience with a sensor failure on my new 2017 Yukon and they had to replace the entire light due to the computer not reading it correctly. So probably not even if it fit.

They've put a new Escalade front end on an older one, so anything can be done if you have enough money.

It's definitely not gonna just bolt right up and plug in though
