Not a tahoe, but I referenced this thread several times while the wife and I were looking for wheels for our new-to-us 2007 Escalade ESV. Ended up with 2015+ Platinum style replicas in black with Chrome inserts. Love em. I think they need a cadillac logo on the center cap, she's not so sure....new wheels.jpg new wheels 3.jpg

When you guys are stepping up in size from 17" 18" to 20" 22" wheels is there anything needed as far as speedo correction? When I went from 16" to 20" on my 2003 Tahoe I took it to the dealer for an ECM re flash to correct the speedo and tranny shift points.

@calif phil , it depends on what size tires you go with and the difference in height from stock wheel and tire setup to new tire and wheel setup. When I went from my stock 17s on 265/70R17s on my 2006, to my 07+ Denali 20s with the stock 275/55/R20 tires, the difference was like a half inch in height. So I didn't need to have anything readjusted. My speedo is exactly the same as it was before.

Thanks. I am probably going to purchase a 2010 LT Tahoe tomorrow. The dealer has a set of 20" takeoffs for $1000. I might buy them if they look good. I don't like the stock 17's

p.s. I have spent many days water skiing on big bear lake.

Many of the new style 20s look killer. I be they will look good. Yeah I'm not a fan of the 16s on the new tahoes either. But that's just me lol. And awesome, I went wake boarding every morning this weekend haha.
