no modifications, other than a drop in K&N filter. She’s got 20k miles. The sound changes with RPM’s.

I have already been told once it’s normal, but I feel like it’s getting worse and not normal. I know what injectors sound like and I can faintly hear those.

Let me know what you guys think.

That’s crazy to think this is normal, when other Tahoe’s I listen to have no sound. Something is off.

I agree with this..My 2016 is very quiet.

I had rental 2015 and 2016 Tahoe's and Suburban's and none of those sounded loud like that..Some sounded slightly louder then the other but I figured that was due to the oil that was in my rental as a lot of those vehicles go to quick lubes for oil changes..But none sounded loud like that..BTW I use Mobil 1 OW20 AFE with Delco Filters.

mine doesnt make any sounds like that

did you purchase used? if so, was maintenance kept up with?
what fuel are you using?
any codes?

yes, used at 10k

I do my own oil change so with Mobil 1 synthetic.

No codes, runs well. I think the high pressure fuel pump is the culprit.
