The NEXEN are the cheapest tires possible available on the market right now

The OEM shocks are also wore out

I would put some Bilstein shocks on it and figure out a way to buy Michelin

And resell the NEXEN to cover cost

I don't like it but it's the best answer. That means I will need to spend A LOT of money and then gamble on a sucker to buy the old tires and haggle with them
I truly appreciate it!

I have 305/45/22 and lowered 3 in the back and 2 in the front, The back was done with a more progressive spring that made a big difference. If the rear shocks haven't been changed and it saw quite a few miles my guess is their stock and may have the air support feature. As for towing my Denali has the auto ride so it airs up automatically when a load is applied. In all that I'd agree that more side wall will improve the ride. Since your tires are new and plan to keep them you might find some offers on CL where they'll trade new for new. It's worth a look.
