2010 BMW 535XI

Any of you guys know about BMWs? I have a chance to grab a 2010 535 AWD w/ 90k on it.

How long are these good for? Car is super clean.

Their hoses and lines become very brittle around that age / mileage regardless of being clean. They can be ok, but just be wary of the maintenance its going to need.

Like what maintenance? That's what is scaring me. I almost refuse to take my vehicles to the dealer.

A friend had a 335i which I believe is the same twin turbo motor, right? His blew threw head gaskets at 110, timing chain, oil leaks, etc. Ive worked on a few 335's and M'3s, they always seem to have some kind of oil leak or timing chain problem. Not sure if anyone else could chime in thats owned one.

Yes, this one has the 3.0 twin turbo 6cyl. I've had GM vehicles for so long, the fact I know next to nothing about them kinda scares me.

A good place for parts is ECS tuning. They have parts / tools / everything youd need to repair it (less actual instructions).
