Hmmm... I wonder if the trucks without the heated rear buckets are pre-wired for this.

I assume this is used... have you hooked it up to verify if this unit causes the whine in the rear speakers?

Mine whines and I have been meaning to change it out for a new one but haven't made it a priority.

I ordered it's brand new then I had the same problem but the time I ordered it the nosie went away and it was past the time to send it back.
