You'll need something similar to this, the socket came from autozone. It's made for the oil pressure sender.

I'm hoping my socket from my ls1 years ago fits. We shall see when I get the parts.

It's a thin wall, deep well, 1- 1/16

there is a also a screen below the sensor . take it out and make sure its clean. you will need a pick and patience to remove it. its a good idea to replace it. they are available at a gm dealer and inexpensive.
