2003 Chevy Tahoe-Service Brake Booster

My had the alert several members experienced: Battery not charging, service brake booster ... long story short-battery died, replaced the alternator and the battery and everything has been running fine for the last 3 weeks.
Today as I was driving home, the "SERVICE BRAKE BOOSTER" alert flashes on my dash *again* ugh!
What could be the issue now?

There is a bracket on the rear brake line that rubs and can wear through the line over time. On my 2003 Tahoe, the brake pedal went to the floor on hard braking on the highway. Had a booster code set while the pedal was down too far.
