2000 Yukon, had front end work done and now steering feels off at high speeds?

Maybe one of the bolts on the steering linkage wasn't torqued to spec. Or the steering gear shaft could have been damaged if the pitman arm was pounded on or if a pickle fork was used to separate it from the shaft.

Don't know. I'd get a second opinion.

I'd question why they didn't replace both inner and both outer tie rods while they were doing all that since the others probably either need to be replaced now or else they will need to be replaced soon, and you don't want to pay labor and alignment costs all over again. Oh wait, that's called repeat business when you bring it back in a few months and they tell you then that they need to be replaced.

A suggestion--talk to friends to locate a shop that is honest. Many shops are, but some are not.
