My sister just purchased a 1999 Chevy Tahoe with 220k miles on it. It wasn't her decision to get it but her dumb husband talked her into it can anyone shed some light on this situation regarding if the motor has any life span left& how long??!!

I changed my engine out a while back. it was still running well, but changed it out for a GM factory 383. It had 310K miles in it.

This is tough to answer without knowing anything about the condition of the truck. That being said, well maintained Tahoes can last well past 220K.
