Howdy & I sincerely appreciate being able to post my questions on your site. I apologize in advance because I know the answer is here somewhere but I cannot find it. I just purchased a clean 1 owner, white w blue interior, 98 2dr 2wd Tahoe that was all stock running 235/75/15s on 15x7 factory alloys. I lowered the rear 2” to level it out. I’m going a bit old school on the build & just purchased a set of Level 8 Punch 16x8.5 wheels w-6mm offset & 4.51 backspacing.

I want it to be an everyday driver & plan to keep it this height but want to run the max tire I can run w out any interference. I do want to run same size all way around & think that translates somewhere from 275/60/16 to 275/70/16. Can someone please verify my thoughts & if not, please correct me so I can get some new rubber on my new wheels & do some cruising.

I've got a 1997 Yukon 4 door. No lift on the front but just 2" blocks on the back. Came with 265/60/18s on it. No rubbing at all. And wouldn't rub at the back if there wasn't any blocks.
