My 1995 Yukon dash board is cracked to the point where it vibrates going down the highway. It has cracked out around the screws that hold it up. I see they sell caps that go over the dash. But I think in my case they would not strengthen the weakened supports of my dash and I would just have a nice looking dash that would still vibrate.
Anyway. I believe this is a common problem on 95s and I would like to hear any suggestions as to how to get a good replacement. Are there any vendors that sell real dashes? What year dashes will fit my 95? Any other suggestions.?
The only other approach I can think of is to metal reinforce several areas of my existing dash. (metal and the right epoxy?) and then hopefully get a cap to fit above all the re-enforcements .
