My 1995 Yukon dash board is cracked to the point where it vibrates going down the highway. It has cracked out around the screws that hold it up. I see they sell caps that go over the dash. But I think in my case they would not strengthen the weakened supports of my dash and I would just have a nice looking dash that would still vibrate.

Anyway. I believe this is a common problem on 95s and I would like to hear any suggestions as to how to get a good replacement. Are there any vendors that sell real dashes? What year dashes will fit my 95? Any other suggestions.?

The only other approach I can think of is to metal reinforce several areas of my existing dash. (metal and the right epoxy?) and then hopefully get a cap to fit above all the re-enforcements .

There are no "new" dashes being made, but good dashes do turn up on eBay from time to time.

A 95-96 would be best, but a 97-98 would fit provided that you grabbed the hvac ductwork along with it. It's different on those due to the passenger airbag. Maybe the wiring harness as well, but I'm not sure.
