Thank you. That is exactly what I was looking for, there is so much information out there. I appreciate your perspective.... the last thing I want to do is throw some money at this and not be at all happy with what I end up with.
I haven't looked at the exhausts yet...
I need some guidance....
My Suburban has an LM7 5.3L with 706 heads.. with 178k miles.
I bought a running 2003 Denali Yukon with LQ4 with 200k miles and a recently rebuilt 4L65e...
I'm planning to swap the transmission in..and would like to refresh the LQ4.
I'm going to do an engine oil...
Perfect, that's what I thought. I have a 2005 Suburban LT and a 2003 Denali that I'm stripping for all the woodgrain, bumper, transmission and lq4....
The actual metal bumper was basically rust....nothing but rust left... So I thought I'd ask before I went thru the effort to get the cover and...
My 4L60e has been slipping and needs to be swapped.
Obviously I need to pull the drive shafts, remove the transfer case, remove cats...
So in addition to swapping the trans, I am looking at doing the following
1. Change U-Joints
2. Install Pump Rub kit and new fluid in NP246
3. New Transmission...
So, I don't have the buy pass sensors... I used a procedure I found on the Internet of pulling a fuse at a certain point... And never get warnings or trouble codes.
Going strong for 9 months
I have had both 285 and 295.. and I found the fitting on my leveled 2005 Suburban, the 285 was perfect, while 295 just had a little rub even at full crank
I have a 2005 Suburban LT 4x4 finished in Bermuda blue metallic.
It has some damaged clear, large stone chips.... I'm looking for suggestions on repairing the spots so
1. They don't get worse
2. They don't look worse
3. And from 20ft they look better.
Any suggestions or ideas?
I'm looking for a pig tail/connector for the roof harness that connects to the lift harness... Mine is burnt...
I've seen the work arounds. But would prefer to replace.
Any ideas?
I think I forgot emergency brake and heater core connections at the firewall.
But I took my "practice" run with my 2003 Yukon Denali parts car.
It came apart fairly easily.. and I could probably put it back together again, if I needed to.
