I have an 07 Denali with AWD and my OM says to use the manual transmission fluid. Which is aka Dex 3. But I believe you can find the exact one by looking up the part number ending in 1800.
One more question guys. Transfer case question. I’m also going to change that fluid but I’m a bit confused. My OM says to use manual transmission fluid but I’ve read that people are using Dexron 6.
I have the same question. I also have an 07 Denali. But my OM says to use manual transmission fluid. I’m confused. I’ve read that people are using Dexron 6 which goes in the transmission.
Well they pretty much all do. I was doing some research yesterday and the Valvoline brand does too. So I’m assuming it doesn’t matter. I wanted to use Amsoil or Valvoline only so I I’m just gonna use one of them with no additive because according to the bottles they already come with it.
Brake light switch would be the first thing I’d try. When I bought my 07 Denali it wasn’t working and I replaced that part and it’s been working ever since. 20 minute job and the part is like $25.
Hello everyone, I am getting ready to replace my front and rear differential fluids. A long with the transfer case fluid. I’m going to use 75-90 Amsoil for the diffs. I found through the threads on here where someone noted the fluid capacity’s so thank you for that. But I’m not sure if I am...
Thanks for the tip. I haven’t got any more response. Hopefully someone will give me those specs soon because I’m going to start on this tomorrow morning first thing.
No problems with my 07 Denali. I used some LEDs from Amazon that had good reviews. So far they’ve been on there for over a year and I’ve had zero issues. No flickering either. Stay away from the eBay ones. They are cheap as hell and flicker after about a month. Anything over $20 for a set should...
Hey guys so in the end I went with the Strutmasters conversion kit. Luckily they are in the same state as me and I saved myself $80 for picking it up in person. I’m planning on doing this tomorrow since I have this weekend off. I was wondering if anyone on here has the torque specs for the front...
This is the kit I’m referring to. A guy on YouTube has a video of him installing it on a 08 Denali I believe. Except he kept the air ride but I’m not worried about that.
Your right. That makes sense. You know after researching all of this I am now thinking that if I’m about to shell out 800 on new suspension components I could just lower it instead. There’s a Belltech kit for 600 to do a 2-4 drop. In the end the suspension gets updated and I’ll get the subtle...
True, I’m still debating what I should do though. I’ve heard good things about the kit I’m looking at. They say it’s a good ride. Obviously not like the Z55 but it’s decent. Plus my trucks old. She’s got 215k.
Both bladders are shot and I’m almost certain that the compressor is also and I don’t want to shell out over 1k just to fix it. I’m considering getting the Strustmasters kit that will convert the entire suspension for $750. It comes with the front and rear shocks and also with a module that’ll...
Hello everyone, I have a question to ask. I’m going to be replacing my rear air shocks on my 2007 Denali with regular shocks. My question is do I also have to replace the spring or can I just use the same one that’s already on the truck. Also if anyone knows where I can find the module or...
Yes that’s good information. Like I said I’ve replaced that part with a brand new one but I’m still going to do the troubleshooting to make sure it’s not a faulty part.
