Dusty alternator?
The alternator in my 08 yukon is screeching when I accelerate. I removed the serpentine belt and can hear the same sound when I manually spin the alternator pulley. Automatic Liftgate will not lock
I've got a 2008 Yukon XL. The automatic liftgate opens fine and lowers as usual. The problem is that when I push the liftgate button to close it lowers to the point of locking but just opens up again. I can physically lower the gate by hand and it stays shut. Any thoughts or simple fixes?- biorob
