Towing with a supercharger
Anybody have any experience towing with a supercharger? I have a 04 Tahoe Z71 5.3 flex. I tow a travel trailer that loaded will be about 7k or less. It pulls good now, but I'm looking for more low end grunt and dont have the $$$$ for a diesel at this time. Will it have cooling issues with the...- donut slayer

04 Tahoe RC level kit w/shoes
OK, finally put my RC level kit on with shocks. Keys in front, but I didnt add the 3/4" rear spacers as I figured I wouldnt need them for the tires. Went with Cooper ST/Maxx 285-70-17's, for now. The fenders sit right at 37" but I'm still able to get 39" when the keys are maxed out. I have 1.5"...- donut slayer

Rear hatch glass
Has anybody found a "fix" beside replacement, for the delamination of the rear hatchback glass from the metal hinge? I just bought a 2004 Z71 Hoe and found out mine is delaminated. Hope I can fix this without getting a new rear glass. Safelite quoted me $480 to replace the glass. Of course I...- donut slayer

Finally. Getting my Z71 Hoe tomorrow.
Getting up at 2am and driving all the way to gainesville, FL to get my new 2004 Z71 Tahoe. Woooo Hoooooooo I'm pumped. 93k miles on her, silver with grey leather. I'll post pics when I get back. Let the modding begin.- donut slayer

BF Goodrich tires
How good offroad are the BFG all terrains? I know they wont do as good as my cooper SST's, but would they be much better than nitto terra grappler??- donut slayer

Flex Fuel vs Non Flex
Is there any advantage for either? I'm looking at 2 Z71's, ones flex, ones not. I assume just different fuel mapping on computer and components in fuel system?- donut slayer

Drivers side mirror broke
Wife came home with the driver side mirror broke. It looks like it broke on the pivot shaft that runs from the base up into the mirror housing. Does anybody know how to disassemble the housing? Looks like a spring and nut came off the plastic pivot shaft. Dosent look like the plactic broke, just...- donut slayer
