LED interior lights
I never got them to work right. The lights in the roof interior come on about 20% brightness until I open my driver side vanity mirror. Then they are full power. The map lights won't both turn on at the same time unless I do the magic vanity mirror trick.
This was never...
I installed a direct fit Magnaflow Cat-back system on my Tahoe last year, and have been dealing with the awful highway speed drone ever since. Pretty much anything in the 2100-2500 RPM range produced a drone that drowned out any and all cabin noises (including normal radio volume...
Here's a suggestion I worked up in Illustrator.
The Z71 with the 4x4 isn't too much. Just color match the stitch to your exterior and it'll look sweet. A little white accent outline and you're good to go.

I always try to park away from everyone.
I park as far away as I can, and take up two spots. It never fails though there will be someone that thinks it's a good idea too, and parks right the fuck next to me out in the North forty of the parking lot. I know that's not always an option, but I...
I have to ask... did you check to make sure the jack & all that crap is tight? Also, do you have rear AC? Maybe something's loose in there.
Could even be the rear seats.

I have a squeaky dash too. If you figure it out please let us know. I don't think mine is hub related. If it were, would I not hear it when I drive with the windows down? It sounds like one of the clips is loose and rubbing a piece of plastic or something. It's probably the cap to the...
I installed LEDs for the front & 2nd row floorboard areas. They're the LEDs I got from HIDGuy for my vanity lights. I could never get them to work correctly with the rest of the dome light setup. I have a voltage issue in my dome light system, which I think is a bad dimmer/on-off switch... I...
It might be better to find a lock box or maybe a pistol safe that would fit down in there and secure it into the box. I can't think if any way to lock it that would keep anyone from getting into it. It might keep your kids or your girlfriend out, but it's all plastic.
like this...
You sure you didn't get it all over your shoes? Maybe it's on the floor mats.
Pretty much anything you touched getting back in the truck could have gas on it due to it splashing all over the place and possibly on you and your clothes. Maybe even someting inside that you touched with your...
OK, nevermind
I have a friend who wants to put a 5.3 in his rock crawler. I found a couple on EBAY for him that were $600. I know he'd go $1000, but it depends on the mileage.
Thanks Blizzard.

Got my battery replaced under warranty, and discovered I did not need to buy a new alternator.
Now I have time to research for the correct alternator if it ever does crap out!

Well, I am now thinking it might be the battery. When the truck is running the battery gauge sits perfectly in the middle and does not fluctuate. When I first noticed the problem I was sitting in my garage with the key in the ignition, with the aux on. I was checking to see if both my mirrors...
I don't have any aftermarket stuff, just stock OEM stereo. I think my alternator might be going out. I'll probably get one from Autozone or Oreilly's here in town just because it's convenient.
Now, Autzone has Duralast brand... and Oreilly has Ultima brand. Does anyone know if one's...
I run E85 too, and my gas mileage sucks with it. But, I can run E85 with my 91 Octane tune and get the same HP... but for $.80 a gallon cheaper than 93 Octane here in Dallas.
And there's only a 2 mpg difference between the two, which means I actually save money by buying E85. (just barely...
Driver select button, meaning the 1 or the 2 on the driver's door control panel.
If you have power mirrors and power adjustable pedals do them at the same time with the seat adjustments, then do like Regal said.
I do have one question though, why do you keep having to reset it? Mine stays...
