got a few updates. nothing too big. mostly just been driving and enjoying it
heres some new stuff
its a pelican 1720. plan on storing most of my recovery gear up here to help free up some room inside the vehicle and have less things bouncing around in case of an accident. mostly going to...
i see its been awhile since i've updated here. heres a few things i've done since last time i did.
copy/pasting so any referances to time are old now. lol
and got this in today. its from safari straps. 2" webbing. the large model like 46x40 or something like that. should work good to hold...
its holding up fine. its only been in there a week
got a few things done today. got a new light in today to replace the one that was out. kinda good and kinda bad on that. i plugged it in and saw the color was different so i opened it up and it was a 5k light instead of the 6k the...
newest mod. baja rack cargo rack. ordered the optional light bar and hi-lift mount to go along with it. being that the rack is almost the exact width of the crossbar mounts i'm considering making custom brackets to bolt the rack down to lower it down slightly. should make it a little more solid...

just finished mine up the other day. i'm really happy with em. they're brighter than my cell phone pics show too
heres what i used. cost about $40 total. gave me enough bulbs to do the plate lights, all four doors, map lights and all the overhead lights...
i love randomly coming across answers for stuff i wondered about but didn't ask. lol. i just swapped to led's last weekend and was lost on the dim thing too.
