I've been really happy with it so far, but it's worth noting that the electrical system is completely stock right now. I don't have an aftermarket stereo or aux lighting or anything like that installed yet.
A few years ago I drove this Tahoe out to Colorado Springs, CO to visit the Global SuperTanker 747 aerial firefighting base. When I got there, I was given these magnetic placards to stick on the doors. It was pretty cool driving onto the airport ramp and parking directly beneath the massive jet...
Unfortunately I don't have an exhaust clip right now but I will definitely make one soon. This system isn't as loud as you would expect, probably because of the two high flow cats. Idle is pretty subdued but there's no mistaking the growl when you punch the throttle.
Here's what the truck currently looks like from the front. Both factory fog lights are broken, which seems to be a very common occurrence for full size GM trucks of this era. In the next few days I'll be replacing those with an upgraded solution along with adding accessory lights to the grille...
My favorite mod so far is the Gibson exhaust system. Here's a close up shot of the dual side exit tips. I've had this installed for about 1,000 miles now and the improvement over stock is night and day.
