Help with 12v outlet power issue...
Sounds silly but are you sure its the lighter and not the 12v power outlet? They do run off seperate circuits. You may have one bad and checking the other. Auxillary power outlet console, cigarette lighter. Two seperate fuses in my 2006 Tahoe.- George H

HVAC control backlight
I recently replaced the bulbs in my tahoe hvac control and noticed that they are on all the time. Is this how they operate or did I create a short to voltage?
