Well I saw it in on an earlier forum post someone was putting 22s on there 09 and if he wanted to have the spare be the same he needed the 22in wheel hoist. I looked into and found gm part 84300486 and in the notes its for a 22 inch wheel only. When I get my new rim Friday ill buy and old tire... -

Yeah that's the plan. I was looking though the forum and saw someone who had a 09 Tahoe have to buy a new wheel hoist for the 22 becasue the factory one only works with 17-21 inch rims. -

22-inch tire fit where the spare is?
I have a 2013 Tahoe (ppv) which has 22x9 inch rims. I recently bought a new rim and was wondering if I could mount it where the spare tire is. (The current one is the stock 17 factory one). I wanted to see if anyone has tried this yet and it has worked.
