    Yes it does - verified during a 500+ caravan trip on vacation. Also interesting, if you manually apply the trailer brake controller without touching the pedal (while pulling a trailer, of course), the brake lights are also lit.

    Motor replace in the driver's seat and the noise is gone. *shrug* Hopefully it'll last.

    They apparently are replacing the blower motor and finally admitted that it was too noisy (after initially saying it was "normal"). I'll let you know how it turned out. Again, passenger sounded OK so I didn't feel too bad about making a stink about this.

    Confirmed. Stuffing a towel up there temporarily has muted it somewhat. This isn't safe to drive with obviously so I just tested it in the garage. Mind snapping a picture of your job?

    Thanks. I'm hoping you don't have it so it can be a repairable condition. Things like these are usually design flaws though. Maybe Mr. White (our resident electronics expert) will chime in. It's way up there. 12-14 KHz. But I hear it no problem! Ugh!

    Yep. I have it enabled and nothing. I did read that you have to use the RKE (which I have) but still nothing. Anyway, appreciate you bringing the scratching issue up (your original topic - apologies). I have to fold them to safely garage it so I will keep my eye on that.
