    I understand that nice doesn’t mean fair. The shop is looking at the transmission free of charge. When I asked for a rough estimate for worst case scenario he said that 2011 was the year they switched from 4 speed to 6 speed transmissions? He said that impacts the price significantly...

    Called first transmission shop. They have good reviews. Spoke to the guy. Very nice. He couldn’t give me a price cause he wants to confirm the transmission due to it being a 2011. I drop it off Friday. Hopefully he reasonable !

    After everyone’s input, I feel more comfortable moving forward with replacing the transmission. I’m going to call 2 shops tomorrow to see what prices I’m looking at. I appreciate everyone’s input. I’ll keep you updated and let you know what happens. Thanks again!

    360.00 and it’s loaded. It’s got everything .. 4wd leather , heated seats, dvd. mist been a depressing ride home. Passed 2 Tahoe’s, a Denali , and an Escalade..really miss driving my Yukon.. this sucks

    you hit the nail on the head. That is exactly the debate going on in my head. After the feed back received I think it makes sense to shop for for a second opinion and find a shop to repair it. Received a lot of great feed back and advice on this forum!

    Water in the door? !

    Same thing happened to me. I noticed it by opening the door! I just drained it. I think it’s like one reply stated.. it’s the lip by the bottom of window. I also noticed that I can only operate the window from drivers side door. Water problem damaged switch on my truck.

    distance on full tank vs gauge

    I normally go to 1/4 of a tank. I don’t know if it’s true or not, but I’ve been told it’s easier on the fuel pump.
