Flushed the fluid today. Nothing abnormal in the pan. Didn't cut open the filter. Fluid was dark, but that was expected with the temps I've been having.
Still having an issue. Trans is just acting funny. When ever I go from a gear like R to D or D to P the engine will rev up for a moment and come back down. Also seems like the shifts arent at the right times
I'm going to flush the entire system tomorrow and report back. Just wondering if this was a limp mode thing. I had no message in the DIC or a check engine light. Just elevated temperatures with my trans and coolant.
When it was hot all weekend, No I could not rev the engine at all in gear. Today it's just fine. Was wondering with the hot temps if it goes into a limp mode?
2003 Yukon XL Denali. Was towing my camper and noticed the truck had no power. Put truck into reverse and it wont move. Almost like theres no throttle response. Put it in Neutral and have response. Trans was around 210. Was 97 the last couple of days. Let truck cool down overnight and it was...
It has since then gone away and not come back, I did the work myself. I will scan it tomorrow and just see what the sensors are doing, but I have seen a huge improvement in performance and power as well as no more flashing check engine light.
Here's what I found on my scan.
Cold STFT Bank 1 0-2 at idle. Bank 2 0-2 at idle. LTFT Bank 1 9 at idle. Bank 2 10 at idle. MAF 6.2 MAP 11.2. All of Bank 1 has misfires in the history. Once the truck warmed up STFT Bank 1 -5 to 0. Bank 2 -4 to 0. LTFT Bank 1 was 5 and Bank 2 was 6.
Can anyone tell me what I'm looking for while I look at the data for my Yukon? What should my fuel trims be? 02 voltages. What should the wavelength look like for the 02? Bank one sensor 1+2 both have the same wave. Bank 2 1+2 have different waves.
