2002 Escalade engine knock/tap?
My Escalade’s been making this sound when it’s first started up. It’s been getting progressively worse, but goes away at high RPM. I’m thinking it could be a lifter, or maybe flexplate issues? Beginning rebuild on Escalade LQ9 motor
Decided to o ahead and rebuild my engine. Right now I’m trying to decide if I want to hop it up while it’s going to be torn apart. No compression in Cylinder 6. Worth rebuilding a 200k mile engine?
Just as the title says really. Check engine light is flashing and the code is for P0306 misfire and the MAP. I’m assuming the intake valve is either stuck, bent, or dropped.
