I run a Range plug in device and I used it in my 14 Silverado. I now use it in my 13 Avalanche and will keep using it as long as my AV will run. I recommend it!
With my 5.3 Silverado the Black Bear tune improved the trans shifting but not much on the mpg front. Since I sold it and went back to an Avalanche with 5.3 I don't see a need for a tune. I improved my mpg's with an AEM dry filter and cleaning of the maf sensor. Went from 15.3 to mid to high...
The one time I needed OnStar to open my door, on a raining night in which I injured my knee on the job they refused. After calling the next day to complain I was told the recording was reviewed and I was correct, and for my inconvenience they offered to extend my OnStar for 1 month. The Nav...
I shy away from any oil covered air filters. Installed an AEM oil-less air filter a month back on my 13 Avalanche and seen a slight increase in fuel mileage.
I use to have OnStar when I worked till 2 or 3 in the morning. I drove rural roads to get home and if I would have hit a deer or run into a ditch I would have had help, hopefully. But one night I slipped on the semi truck steps and really scraped up my leg. Parked truck 300 yards from my 14...
The only issue that I have found so far is the big LED 3rd brake light in my 13 AV. Looks like they had a bad batch and mine did leak. I have removed it twice to seal it, second time I had to repair one of the hold retainers for the bolts that secure it to the body.
Other that that I am getting...

I have pored over a couple of forums about the Z55 air suspension since I wanted a level lift for my Avalanche. I have read several posting that yes indeed you need to replace the rear coils if you remove the air assisted shocks. That is all I can attest to because I have a 2.5"/1" level lift...

I spoke with Dave this morning at Summit Performance and he confirmed this kit to work on Autoride Z55 suspensions, so I placed my order. I will post back when kit is installed.
I am so keeping my fingers crossed that this kit works...
