    Your Preferred Motor Oil?

Does the 5.7L take 6 quarts? I thought my owner's manual said 5.

    Your Preferred Motor Oil?

Sorry about that. I did do a search, but, I might not have worded it right. Besides, I'm a member of BobIsTheOilGuy.com, and A-Holes are plenty there. They just get ignored, as well.

    Your Preferred Motor Oil?

Hello everyone! Since our GM's are a bit older, with a few miles on them, I was curious as to what flavor of motor oil you're giving them to keep them going? I just got back in the Tahoe family this last week after being away for a couple of years, and plan on getting her a fresh oil change in...

Yes, they do. Had a set on an '04 Tundra I owned years ago. Great tire!

    Back From The Unknown...

Thanks, guys! It runs great, although, it could be because the owner had the 5.7 rebuilt at around 120,000 miles. He used it as a hunting rig, and it has sat for a while. So, it needs an oil change and a little TLC. But, it looks clean on the inside, with just a couple of tears in the driver's...

    Back From The Unknown...

Hello all! After being away from the forums for a couple of years (due to having to give up my '02 Tahoe), I have returned with a recently purchased 1999 Tahoe Z71 4x4 w/211,000 miles. It's good to be back! :favorites37:

    300,000 mile Tahoe

I know when I purchased mine, the BB value was around $4000. I bought it for $7800. They probably got it for half the Blue Book. I just thought this one was in nice shape for 307,000 miles. The price? Not so much. :p

    300,000 mile Tahoe

If anybody has a doubt about the longevity of Tahoes, here's a beautiful representation of one that looks like the owner treated it with love: https://www.westhillsford.com/inventory/used-2002-chevrolet-tahoe-lt-4wd-4dr-1500-4wd-1gnek13z12j155208 Awesome color, and has over 300,000 on the...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

It was a first free oil change for the Tahoe since I bought it. Parts list said 5-30 conventional & filter. Figure next change, might bring my own oil in. Haven't decided what yet, though. Sent from my Z899VL using Tapatalk

    Unclog sunroof drain

Had the same issue with my Hummer H3. The air compressor solution is probably the easiest & safest way to do it. A couple of the H3 guys also poured drain cleaner or shower cleaner into the tubes. Said it worked okay for them. If it rains a lot in your area, check your sunroof tray for water...

    Exhaust systems?

I'll double up on this suggestion. I have an MBRP exhaust on my '02. Nice little roar to life when started, then settles into a dull rumble until you stomp on it. Quiet is for minivans. Let 'em hear you comin'. [emoji350] Sent from my Z899VL using Tapatalk

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Couple of days late on this, but, had issues with the factory setup, so, made a change. Alpine head unit with AM/FM/XM/single CD & Bluetooth. Sad I no longer have a cassette player, as I still have many. But, happy to have great sound pumping out of my 9 speakers. :) Sent from my SM-S820L...
